'Miranda O'Brian was the descendant of Chief Miles O'Brien and an ensign from the Defiant. She lived on the planet Gaia with the rest of the descendants Defiants crash survivors. When Odo allowed the Defiant to leave Gaia, Miranda was wiped out of existence along with the rest of the desndants. (DS9: "Children of Time")
