Minos Korva is a Federation star system, located four lightyears from the Cardassian border and 10 from the McAllister Nebula. It was part of disputed territory between the Federation and the Cardassians since Federation-Cardassian War of the mid-24th century. In 2369, the Cardassians unsuccessfully attempted to take over the system.

In 2369, Starfleet created contigency plans that placed the USS Enterprise-D, at that time temporarily commanded by Captain Edward Jellico, in the vicinity of Minos Korva for an expected surprise invasion by the Cardassians.

It is not known whether Minos Korva remained under Federation jurisdiction after the creation of the Demilitarized Zone.
