Mindy Hall is a Hollywood make-up artist who was the head of the make-up department on Star Trek. [1] She has received an Academy Award for her work on the film, which she shares with Prosthetic Make-up Designer Barney Burman and Prosthetic Make-up Supervisor Joel Harlow. The three also received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Make-Up for Star Trek. [2]

Hall was make-up artist for Alfre Woodard on the 1995 film How to Make an American Quilt, which also starred Winona Ryder, Jean Simmons and Gail Strickland. She later applied Gregg Henry's make-up for Payback (1999, co-starring John Glover. Hall was also co-department head on this film. Her other make-up credits include Nixon (1995, featuring Robert Beltran, Bill Bolender, Michelle Krusiec, Tony Plana, Saul Rubinek and Paul Sorvino), Patch Adams (1998, starring Bob Gunton), Pearl Harbor (2001, featuring Pat Healy, Glenn Morshower, Randy Oglesby, Leland Orser, Steve Rankin, Raphael Sbarge, James Saito, Cary-Hiroyuki, and Michael Shamus Wiles).

More recently, Hall served as make-up department head on Swordfish (2001, featuring Zach Grenier), The Mothman Prophecies, Cradle 2 the Grave (2003, featuring Gabrielle Union), Rent (with art direction by Keith Cunningham), World Trade Center (2006, featuring Jude Ciccolella), and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. She was actor Josh Hartnett's personal make-up artist on the film Hollywood Homicide (co-starring Bruce Greenwood and James MacDonald) and Wicker Park and actress Laura Linney's personal make-up artist on Kinsey (co-starring William Sadler), The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and The Nanny Diaries (2007, co-starring Donna Murphy). She was also the department head for the latter film.
