Mind Meld: Secrets Behind the Voyage of a Lifetime was a home video special released in 2001 featuring William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy talking together about their lives, their friendship and their careers. Without a script or mediator, the two discuss filming Star Trek, the pressures experienced in their personal lives, the resentment felt by other cast members, and a variety of other topics including personal demons and mortality.

Produced by William Shatner with Melis Productions and distributed by Creative Light Entertainment for, this 75 minute feature was shot entirely on Nimoy's property in Los Angeles. A majority of the time is spent with the two sitting in the backyard of Nimoy's home, while a short portion in the middle shows them inside looking at years of collected memorabilia.

The DVD contains a five minute "making of" featurette (which serves also as an advertisement for the product) including additional interview clips, text biographies for the two actors, a weblink to, subtitles and chapter selection.
