Smith was three times nominated for a Taurus World Stunt Award (2001 for best fight in Charlie's Angels shared with Al Goto; 2004 for best work with a vehicle and for best overall stunt by a stuntman in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines shared with Monte Rex Perlin and Tim Trella).
