Real World article
(written from a Production point of view)

Mike Grell (born 13 September 1947; age 69) is a comic book artist.

Grell entered the industry in 1972 and moved to New York City the following year to begin working for DC Comics. While there he worked on titles including Aquaman, Green Arrow, Phantom Stranger, Batman, and Legion of Super-Heroes (following Dave Cockrum). He also created a series titled The Warlord in 1978 that quickly became the top-selling title for the company.

He has continued to write and draw comics, including doing the "B" cover for the third issue of IDW Publishing's Star Trek - Legion of Super-Heroes mini-series.
