Midos V was an inhabited planet. It was the fifth planet of the Midos planetary system. This system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. The planet was affiliated with the United Federation of Planets.
This planet was located in the vicinity of Exo III and was abundant in raw materials. Prior to stardate 2712, an Earth colony was established on this planet.
In 2266, Roger Korby enlisted the Kirk android to arrange him transportation off Exo III to a nearby planet colony with proper raw materials to begin producing androids. Korby noted that there were several good possibilities among the USS Enterprise's next stops without diverting from the ship's route. In response, the android Kirk chose Midos V, noting that it was "an excellent choice" for Korby's needs. (TOS: "What Are Little Girls Made Of?")
