A mid-range phase adjuster is a piece of technology invented by Geordi La Forge for the USS Enterprise-D and installed in power transfer conduits aboard the ship.

The mid-range phase adjuster saved energy by putting the plasma back into phase after inertial distortion.

Leah Brahms was impressed by the technology when visiting the Enterprise in 2367 and suggested La Forge should write a scientific paper about it, as the idea had never been conceived or done before. (TNG: "Galaxy's Child")
