In her one and only credited screen appearance until 2014, Michele Ameen Billy played the role of an Epsilon IX station lieutenant in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. At the time, she was concurrently serving as the secretary to Harold Livingston, the film's screenwriter. While working on the movie she met, and later married the film's associate producer, Jon Povill, and took the name Michele Abilly Povill. [1]

She was interviewed in 2001 for the special feature Phase II: The Lost Enterprise on the Star Trek: The Motion Picture (The Director's Edition) DVD.
