Michael Spound (born 8 April 1957; age 66) is the actor who played Lorrum in the Star Trek: Voyager second season episodes "Dreadnought" and "Lifesigns".

Spound is perhaps best known for his role as Dave Kendall in Hotel from 1983 through 1987. He would ultimately marry actress Heidi Bohay, who played his wife on the series, in 1988; the couple have had three children together.

Prior to guest starring on Voyager, he appeared on such television series as Laverne & Shirley (with David L. Lander and Michael McKean), Happy Days, Family Ties, The Love Boat (including one episode with Lee Meriwether and another with Victor Tayback), Murder, She Wrote (with William Windom), Matlock (with Albert Hall, Daniel Roebuck, and Heidi Swedberg), In the Heat of the Night (including a two-part episode with William Sadler), and The Single Guy (with Olivia d'Abo). Following his Voyager appearance, he had guest spots on such programs as L.A. Heat (with Kenneth Tigar), The Practice (with Bruce Davison and Zach Grenier), JAG (with Scott Lawrence, Robert Pine, and Sam Witwer), Providence (with Scott Thompson and Concetta Tomei), NYPD Blue (with Gordon Clapp and John Vickery), ER, The District (with Roger Aaron Brown), and The West Wing.

Besides these, he had a role in the 1983 TV movie Emergency Room, starring LeVar Burton, Gary Lockwood, Warren Munson, and Biff Yeager, and Spring Break Lawyer (2001, with Adrienne Barbeau). He also had roles in such films as Bye Bye Love (1995, with Michael Bofshever), NewsBreak (2000, with Kim Darby), The Ring (2002, with Shannon Cochran and Richard Lineback), and Must Love Dogs (2005, with Christopher Plummer).
