Template:Realworld Michael Snyder is an actor who played different characters in two Star Trek films and two episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He is one of 32 actors who have played in both Star Trek: The Original Series (or one of its movies) and one of the spin-off series. Snyder filmed his scenes for the episode "The Perfect Mate" between Tuesday 18 February 1992 and Thursday 20 February 1992 on Paramount Stage 8 and 9.

Besides his Star Trek appearances he played a video camera assistant in the romantic comedy film Funny About Love (1990), which was directed by Leonard Nimoy and featured Trek guest stars Andrew Hill Newman, Paul Collins, Michael Bofshever, Celeste Yarnall, and stunt coordinator Gregory J. Barnett.
