Template:Realworld Michael Reaves (born 14 September 1950; age 73) is a screenwriter and producer who co-wrote the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Where No One Has Gone Before". He also wrote and executive produced "World Enough and Time," the acclaimed fourth episode of the fan-made internet series Star Trek: New Voyages.

Reaves has written for a number of animated television shows, including Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Batman. He also co-wrote the 1993 animated film Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. He more recently wrote several episodes of Spider-Man Unlimited.

In addition, he was a writer, story editor and producer on the popular animated Disney series Gargoyles, which featured the voices of many Star Trek alumni, including TNG's LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis and Brent Spiner. He received a nomination from the Annie Awards in 1995 for writing the Gargoyles episode "Deadly Force".

His live-action writing credits include an episode of the 1980s version of The Twilight Zone starring Richard Cox, an episode of Father Dowling Mysteries guest-starring Michelle Forbes and Natalia Nogulich and the Sliders episode "Requiem", directed by Paul Lynch.

Reaves produced the short-lived animated series Invasion America with the show's creator, Harve Bennett. This series featured the voices of such Trek performers as Edward Laurence Albert, Ronny Cox, Tony Jay, James B. Sikking, Frank Welker and Leonard Nimoy.

Reaves has also authored or co-authored several science fiction novels. Some of his works include the Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter (2001), Medstar I - Battle Surgeons (2004), Medstar II - Jedi Healer (2004), and Death Star (2007). His other novels include I--Alien (1978), Hellstar (1984), Dome (1987), The Burning Realm (1988), Night Hunter (1997), Voodoo Child (1999), Hell on Earth (2001), The Night People (2005), Mr. Twilight (2006), and Batman: Fear Itself (2007).
