Michael Cumpsty (born 26 February 1958; age 66) is an English actor of stage and screen. In 1995, he appeared as Lord Burleigh in two episodes of Star Trek: Voyager, "Cathexis" and "Persistence of Vision".

Prior to his appearances on Voyager, Cumpsty briefly became a regular on L.A. Law during the 1991-92 season, playing the role of Frank Kittredge. His co-stars on this series included fellow Star Trek alumni Corbin Bernsen and Larry Drake. His other credits include the 1990 mini-series The Kennedys of Massachusetts (with Steven Weber playing John F. Kennedy), a 1990 TV adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet (with Reg E. Cathey), the 1997 mini-series LIBERTY! The American Revolution (with Donna Murphy), and appearances on Matlock (with Gregg Henry and Daniel Roebuck), Law & Order, and the soap opera All My Children.
