Michael Bailous (born 29 October 1958; age 65) is an actor who appeared in several episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. His only credited role was in the Deep Space Nine fourth season episode "Hippocratic Oath". Bailous also worked as stand-in on Deep Space Nine and Enterprise.

Special effects make-up Jem'Hadar gloves, worn by Bailous, were sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay and a Klingon uniform was sold off on the Profiles in History sale. [1] [2] Another costume worn by him was later also sold off. However, this costume does not match the characters in the VOY sixth season episode "Tsunkatse". [3]

Bailous earned a degree in Business Administration from the Northeastern University in Boston in 1984.

He appeared as a security guard in Falcon Crest (1988 episode "Telling Tales" with Brett Cullen, Dana Sparks, Christopher Held, Gregg Henry, Phil Lodwick, Alex Zimmerman, Buck McDancer, Rex Pierson, Peter Eastman, Shirley Anthony, Roger Trantham, Norman Fessler, and Chris Doyle and directed by Reza Badiyi), as a casino patron in The Nanny (1995, episode "Canasta Masta" with Daniel Davis and Michael Wajacs), as a forensics officer in Columbo (1997, episode "A Trace of Murder" with Raye Birk, Dion Anderson, Maury Sterling, Woody Porter, Janet Dey, Dieter Hornemann, and Andray Johnson), as a gala party guest in Cybill (1997, episode "Earthquake" with William Steinfeldt, Irving Ross, and Marvin De Baca), was featured in the science fiction thriller Invader (1996, with Carlos Carrasco, Leland Orser, David Cowgill, Andrew Alden, and Angus McClellan), and appeared as a guard in the comedy Spy Hard (1996, with Michael Berryman, Keith Campbell, Carl Ciarfalio, Paul Eliopoulos, Andrew English, Bruce Gray, Kevin Grover, John Kassir, Diane and Elaine Klimaszewski, Clyde Kusatsu, Katherine Moffat, Peewee Piemonte, Jeff Sanders, Mickey Cassidy, Bruce Dobos, Clay Hodges, Henry Kingi, Jr., and Kevin Michael Richardson).

In 2000 he appeared as a background Icarus ranger in Jonathan Frakes' Star Trek spoof Star Patrol!. On this project he worked with Jason Alexander, Mel Johnson, Jr., Tom Miller, Robin Morselli, Brian Demonbreun, Charles Rocket, and Kathi Cook. He also appeared as an NYPD officer in the CSI: NY second season episode "City of the Dolls" (2005, with Robert Joy and Stacey Carino).
