The Mericor system was a star system within the Beloti sector. In 2368, the USS Denver crash landed on one of the planets in this system after it hit a gravitic mine. Responding to the distress calls of the Denver, the USS Enterprise-D entered the system and rescued the survivors. (TNG: "Ethics")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 46, the Mericor system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. This system had five stars. Primary was a Class A star. It had a magnitude of +3, which was 10 times brighter than Sol. Two of the stellar companions were Class A stars, too. The remaining stars were Class K stars.
