My suggestion for a notice and guideline for renaming articles, so we don't have to use other PNA messages for problems with the article titles, as well as keeping track of and highlighting these discussions. MediaWiki:Recentchangestext, {{Listtoc-pna}}, and Memory Alpha:Pages needing attention would be updated to incorporate this. Thoughts? - Archduk3 01:08, January 26, 2012 (UTC)

Seems good to me. --31dot 01:39, January 26, 2012 (UTC)
I agree~. --Pseudohuman 04:36, January 26, 2012 (UTC)
Could we call the template just "rename"? I hate Template:merge with because it always takes me a few tries to figure out what we called it and how it was capitalised. The "with" or "to" just complicates things unnecessarily. Other than that, great idea.–Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 09:41, January 26, 2012 (UTC)

That's fine with me. We could also have {{rename}} and {{merge}} redirect to {{rename to}} and {{merge with}}, respectively. - Archduk3 18:24, January 26, 2012 (UTC)
