I started out being a StarWars fan before i became a Startrek fan. It wasn't until the TNG opening episodes "Encounter at Farpoint" that i even considered taking StarTrek seriously. For me StarTrek had been that ancient outdated show with the weird beeps and flashing lights. How ignorant i was then huh?

But then as i watched the first eps of TNG i became more of an enthousiastic viewer and that continued to grow until i watched every single episode i possibly could, any way i could. Still, besides watching the eps, i didn't really get into the Startrek thing until i started working at a service desk and had loads of time to spend on forums. One of thos e forums was one a collegue suggested i check out and there i found, joining in the discussions and talking with other trekfans, there was quite a chunk of knowledge i seemed to have collected.

This lead me into joining a play by email rpg, give writing fanfiction a shot and (espescially since Enterprise was cancelled) reading an average of 1 Startrek novel a week. Now i have picked up my writing again, having found some time for it again, i regularly end up on this wiki looking for facts and data i need for the story i'm writing. Since i couldn't help notice some indescrepancies here i decided to sign up for an account and see if i can't help fill in a few blanks here and there, while learning a whole lot of stuff i didn't know before.

Regards to all,

Memory Alpha
This page describes one of Memory Alpha's policies and guidelines.
Please read through the policy below to familiarize yourself with our common practices and rules.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or complaints, please post them on the talk page.

All registered users are entitled to their own user page on Memory Alpha. This user page can be used to present many types of information, including reviews of episodes, credit for articles written, or just something about yourself.

Please note that anonymous contributors are not entitled to user pages due to the fact that several different users can access and use Memory Alpha with the same IP address. As such, user pages for anonymous users may be deleted without any warning by an Administrator.

What is your user page?

Your user page is yours.
No other user is allowed to edit your user page. If another user edits your personal user page, or if you edit your user page under an IP address or another account name, it might be considered an act of vandalism. Some exceptions to this exist:
  1. An administrator or bot may edit an external link or an internal wikilink, to avoid linking out to sites which are classified as "spam", or to link internally to invalid pages. Bots do this automatically, so don't be upset if you have to change a link back or use a talk page to let someone know they erroneously edited your links.
  2. Content that is considered offensive may be removed by an Administrator without prior warning – this includes vandalism by others as well as content you added yourself.
  3. If you have not yet chosen to create a user page yourself, an Administrator may create one for you if a link to it shows up on this list. In this case, the created page will contain a link (not a redirect) to your talk page.

What your user page is not

Your user page is not storage space.
Do not use Memory Alpha for storing material unrelated to the project. Uploaded files that are not directly related to an article will be deleted immediately.
