(Note: I've re-started the votes for the first three articles in this list, because of the jumble of different opinions regarding the different articles.)

  • April 5th, 2063. Duplicate of info from 2063, completely superfluous. -- Dan Carlson 17:48, 26 Jun 2004 (CEST)
    • Agree. Sorry, I hadn't thought of looking in the year in stead of the date itself. Unless you want to make it a REDIRECT... -- Redge 19:17, 26 Jun 2004 (CEST)
    • Better to delete than to create an irregular redirect. --Captain Mike K. Bartel
    • Delete. Not useful as a redirect. -- Michael Warren 21:21, 26 Jun 2004 (CEST)
    • Deleted. -- Dan Carlson 15:22, 1 Jul 2004 (CEST)
  • First Terran-Vulcan Contact. Duplicate of info from First Contact. -- Dan Carlson 17:58, 26 Jun 2004 (CEST)
    • Opposed. I think that using a generic title such as First Contact to such a specific event is a bit to hasty. Perhaps we should change First Contact to a disambiguation page. -- Redge 19:16, 26 Jun 2004 (CEST)
    • Opposed. I agree with Redge. --BlueMars 19:23, Jun 26, 2004 (CEST)
      • It's not just a generic term -- "First Contact" is the specific name that Riker used in dialogue. He said, "April 4th... the day before First Contact." (Emphasis added.) He didn't say "Earth's First Contact" or "the first Terran-Vulcan contact" or anything like that. Therefore, this article needs to be merged in with First Contact. -- Dan Carlson 20:10, 26 Jun 2004 (CEST)
        • Okay, but as I said, it will be very confusing since you already have an episode and a protocol and a phenomenon with the same name. A disambiguation page would be better IMO. -- Redge 20:12, 26 Jun 2004 (CEST)
      • Well, Riker has a provincial viewpoint. I'm American, and when I speak of the American Civil War or the American Revolution, I usually leave out the American part --Captain Mike K. Bartel
        • And this is exactly why the term "First Contact" applies to more than just the First Contact discussed in Star Trek: First Contact. -- Redge 20:56, 26 Jun 2004 (CEST)
          • Hence why the First contact page has the non-specific definition first. Said page is also (technically) a disambiguation page, since it directs readers to other meanings of the term at the top of the page. -- Michael Warren 21:21, 26 Jun 2004 (CEST)
    • Support delete. Term is canonically First Contact. -- Michael Warren 21:21, 26 Jun 2004 (CEST)
      • Very well then, but in that case First Contact still needs some work. I'll get to it tomorrow. -- Redge 21:33, 26 Jun 2004 (CEST)
    • Deleted. -- Dan Carlson 15:22, 1 Jul 2004 (CEST)
  • Devore Empire or Devore Imperium, copies. -- Redge 12:03, 28 Jun 2004 (CEST)
    • Delete Devore Empire, that's not the name used in "Counterpoint"... -- Dan Carlson 15:44, 28 Jun 2004 (CEST)
    • Agreed Devore Empire should go. -- Dmsdbo 01:29, 4 Jul 2004 (CEST)
  • Etanian Order or Etanian, copies. That seems to happen a lot in the Races and Cultures ection... -- Redge 12:30, 28 Jun 2004 (CEST)
    • Delete Etanian. That's not the name used in "Rise"... -- Dan Carlson 15:44, 28 Jun 2004 (CEST)
