In fact, [[Rudolph Ransom]] is the only page that links to it, and the dialog from the episode makes no reference to him using said mode against the Klingons: "''At Epsilon IV he ran into a Klingon Bird-of-Prey, played a game of cat and mouse for three days in a nebula before the Klingons finally gave up.''" Whereas the article states: "''He waited three days on low-emissions mode until the Klingons gave up, and then continued the survey.''" Meaning that the "low-emissions mode" and "then continued the survey" is complete speculation.
