Deletion rationale Edit

Dictionary definition only, no specific Trek usage mentioned on the page. Also has been tagged with {{pna}} for some months now. Delete unless rewritten to contain relevant on-topic information. -- Cid Highwind 12:54, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Discussion Edit

  • Keep, although definitely Rewrite (I might do this). The article seems to contradict itself, as "Meridian's" usage is different than the (provided) dictionary definition.--Tim Thomason 22:36, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Keep and Rewrite. --Maestro4k 06:35, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Well, the point why I put this up for deletion is that someone actually needs to do that rewrite, if there even is something Trek-related that we can write about. Voting to keep this page so that someone, at some point in the future, can rewrite the article doesn't help anyone. The article has been identified as PNA back in July 2007, and there have been no changes except technical ones since then. So, if you think this article can be rewritten, please do, so that we can see if it is worth keeping... -- Cid Highwind 14:16, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Keep. Well, the term comes up rather frequently, and I added a few of the more specific references, the problem is more the case of having it all make sense together. There is also the simple fact that it is one of those things with multiple meanings, but whose multiple meanings co-exist on a certain level of understanding. --Alan del Beccio 19:12, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Keep. I don't really think this qualifies as a PNA either, since it fills out a pretty straightforward list of all the uses of the term, whether they agree with each other or not, its how the term was used each time that is described. Are we supposed to rewrite it with some speculation about how the terms are related? Seems like adding original research to explain something that was completely unexplained -- such as the more anomalous uses of this word. -- Captain M.K.B. 21:58, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Now that Alan's updated it heavily, Keep. -- Sulfur 22:05, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Yes, much better after the update. Keep, and get rid of the PNA message. -- Cid Highwind 14:46, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Admin resolution Edit

As per consensus after the rewrite... kept. -- Sulfur 14:53, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
