Deletion rationale Edit

It looks to be a fanon page regarding Caitian. I don't think there is any usable content to warrant a merge. --OuroborosCobra talk 22:27, 1 November 2007 (UTC) What mean a fanon page?

Discussion Edit

  • I am just working on it as we speak. Just to know why do you think the information is not usabale?
Because it is non-canon. None of it comes from canon sources, per Memory Alpha:Canon policy. In addition, it is at the wrong title. --OuroborosCobra talk 22:34, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Delete. Like the rationale says, there's no canonical information here.

  • OK understood. It is the translation of this web site : It was my first experience and I simply tried to be usefull. Sorry
  • Delete. Non-canon, mostly fan fiction. A try, but you can see the site you've translated looks very "fan made". – Tom 23:23, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Delete Its interesting, but clearly not for MA. I'd recommend the topic started look into Memory Beta, or Expanded Universe wikis.Hossrex 00:36, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
    • Actually, I don't think either of them would want this. Memory Beta only accepts content from the novels, and from the look of the site I doubt this is novel based, and Expanded Universe really only wants articles having to do with a story some fan is writing, as I understand it. --OuroborosCobra talk 00:41, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
      • I totally respect that, and to a degree, I was just trying to help. I don't have a clue what his source is on this... so I really can't say where it belongs... but there is so much information here that I would have assumed it at least came from a fan fiction. I think it would fly better at EU then here, at least.Hossrex 00:49, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
        • MB accepts RPG, novels, etc. Anything published in a Paramount licensed publication. -- Sulfur 13:17, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

  • Delete: Appears pure fiction, not based on any source. -FleetCaptain 13:45, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
