Ensign McFarlane was an officer serving aboard Enterprise (NX-01). In September of 2153, he was injured when the ship encountered a spatial anomaly that interfered with the gravity in Cargo Bay 2. (ENT: "The Xindi")
- Ensign McFarlane may have been named after Family Guy creator, and noted Star Trek fan, Seth MacFarlane. MacFarlane would later perform two cameos as Ensign Rivers.
