While brainwashed into functioning as a member of the French Resistance in a holographic simulation of World War II France, Neelix mockingly referred to a Nazi officer who had harassed him as a member of the master race. Later a Hirogen participating in the simulation questioned a simulated German captain as to why they believed themselves to be the master race. He added that because of this, he believed Europe must be purified. (VOY: "The Killing Game")
