...as Doctor Chaotica

Martin Rayner appeared as Doctor Chaotica in three episodes of Star Trek: Voyager. His costume was sold off on the Profiles of History auction. [1]

Rayner has been acting since the very early 1980s. He started his film career in the Julie Andrews hit Victor/Victoria with John Rhys-Davies, but did not land a film part until 1986's Getting Even (with Edward Laurence Albert). 1988 saw Rayner in the interestingly titled Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss alongside James B. Sikking. Rayner then closed out the 1980s with 1989's Ninth Life with Bill Bolender. It was not until 2002 that Rayner was in another film with a Trek actor, Benjamin Franklin (with Ronald Guttman).

Television has not been more open to Rayner, either. He guested on the short-lived Central Park West (starring Mädchen Amick), followed by an episode of Frasier (starring Kelsey Grammer).
