Mark S. Server (born 24 January 1958; age 66) is an Emmy Award-nominated sound engineer who worked on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan as a sound recordist. This film was only his third Hollywood project, after working as a boom operator on the films Xanadu (1980, starring James Sloyan) and Ghost Story (1981, starring Alice Krige and Craig Wasson).

Server collaborated with Star Trek II sound mixer Jim Alexander on four other films: the aforementioned Ghost Story, the 1983 romantic comedy drama Terms of Endearment (featuring art direction by Harold Michelson and set decoration by Tom Pedigo), and the 1985 films Weird Science (featuring Michael Berryman, with cinematography by Matthew F. Leonetti) and Murphy's Romance (featuring Bruce French). Server was a boom operator on Terms of Endearment, and sound recordist on Weird Science, and a cable person on Murphy's Romance.

In the 1980s, Server was an automated dialogue replacement (adr) mixer on such television series as The A-Team (starring Dwight Schultz) and Hunter. He earned his first Emmy Award nomination in 1990 for his work as Supervising Sound Editor on CBS' 1988-90 revival of Mission: Impossible, starring Phil Morris. He received a second nomination the following year as production sound mixer on the short-lived ABC series Cop Rock, starring Ronny Cox.

In 1994, Server was nominated for two Emmy Awards as production sound mixer on the long-running police drama NYPD Blue, starring Gordon Clapp and Sharon Lawrence. In 1996, Server was again nominated by the Emmy Awards, this time as Supervising Sound Editor on the NBC series Law & Order.

Server later worked on such television shows as the CBS situation comedy series Becker (starring Terry Farrell) and Everybody Loves Raymond, UPN's Girlfriends (starring Golden Brooks), the ABC drama Women's Murder Club (featuring Linda Park), and the FX series The Riches (starring Gregg Henry and Todd Stashwick). He also supervised sound for the animated 20th Century Fox films Anastasia (featuring the voices of Kirsten Dunst, Kelsey Grammer, and Christopher Lloyd) and Titan A.E. (with the voices of David L. Lander, Ron Perlman, and Charles Rocket).

More recently, Server was the adr supervisor on Renny Harlin's 2006 horror film The Covenant (featuring Stephen McHattie) and Jada Pinkett Smith's 2008 drama The Human Contract (starring Joanna Cassidy, Anne Elizabeth Ramsay, and Titus Welliver).
