Mark Pacella is an American comic book artist. First published at the age of 14, he grew up in New Jersey and New York City and had his work in The New York Times, The National Law Journal, The Village Voice, and The National Review.
He is well known for his work on Alpha Flight for Marvel Comics in a story that introduced the first openly gay superhero. During his time in the industry, he worked for both Marvel and DC Comics, contributing art, with Klaus Janson, for the Redjac entry in DC's "Who's Who in Star Trek 2".
His final comic work was on his creator owned Tooth and Claw mini-series for Image, a series that he wrote, drew, and colored.
Since then he has also worked on a variety of films as a storyboard artist or conceptual artist including Spawn, Minority Report, and The Forbidden Kingdom.
