Mark Anthony Major is an actor who played many different alien characters in episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise. As background actor he received no credit for his appearances. Two of his costumes from the episodes "Basics, Part II" and "Impulse" were sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] [2] On several call sheets he is listed as Mark Majeur. Major also appeared as one of the Borg drones in the film for the attraction Borg Invasion 4D.

For the Deep Space Nine episode "Defiant", Major filmed his scenes between Monday 3 October 1994 and Wednesday 5 October 1994 on Paramount Stage 4.

Major filmed his scenes for the episode "Maneuvers" on 19 September 1995 and 20 September 1995 on Paramount Stage 9 and 16. For "Resistance", he filmed his scenes on 29 September 1995 and 2 October 1995 on Paramount Stage 16. For "Basics, Part I", he filmed his scenes on 1 March 1996 and 4 March 1996 on Paramount Stage 8 and for "Basics, Part II" on 8 April 1996, 10 April 1996, and 12 April 1996 on Paramount Stage 8 and 9. He returned to Paramount Stage 16 for filming his scenes for "Fair Trade" on 17 October 1996 and 18 October 1996. For the third season episode "Unity", Major filmed his scenes on 13 November 1996 and on 2nd unit on 16 December 1996 on Paramount Stage 9.

For the episode "Scorpion, Part II", Major filmed his scenes between 3 June 1997 and 5 June 1997 on Paramount Stage 9 and 16. For the episode "Nemesis", he was on set on 18 June 1997, again at Paramount Stage 16. Major filmed his scenes for "Waking Moments" on 14 October 1997, 15 October 1997, and 17 October 1997 on Paramount Stage 8 and 9. For "Random Thoughts", he filmed his insert scene on 2nd unit on 24 October 1997 on Paramount Stage 9. For "Dark Frontier", Major was at Paramount Stage 9 on 24 November 1998 and for the second part he filmed his scenes on 4 December 1998, 7 December 1998, and 14 December 1998 on Paramount Stage 16.

Major returned during the seventh season when he filmed his scenes for the episode "Shattered" on 13 October 2000 on Paramount Stage 9, for "Workforce" on 1 December 2000 and between 4 December 2000 and 8 December 2000 on Paramount Stage 16 and on location at the New York Street backlot, and for "Workforce, Part II" on 13 December 2000, 15 December 2000, and 20 December 2000 at Paramount Stage 16.

Major filmed his scenes for the Enterprise pilot episode "Broken Bow" on 25 May 2001 on location at the Redondo Power Plant in Los Angeles, California, and for the Enterprise first season episode "Strange New World" on Wednesday 18 July 2001 on location at the Bronson caves. For "Vox Sola" he filmed his scenes on Wednesday 20 February 2002 and Thursday 21 February 2002 on Paramount Stage 8. His scenes for "Dead Stop" were filmed on 20 August 2002 at Paramount Stage 9, for "Regeneration" in early March 2003, and for "Impulse" between 8 August 2003 and 19 August 2003.

Beside his work on Star Trek, Major appeared in featured roles in the comedy Stoogemania (1986, with Mark Holton, Armin Shimerman, Diz White, Alan Shearman, and James Avery), the horror sequel Phantasm II (1988, with Kenneth Tigar, J. Patrick McNamara, and June Jordan), [3] and in the action drama Twisted Justice (1990, with Warren A. Stevens and Dan Koko). On Twisted Justice, he also worked as stand-in.

In 2015, he was interviewed for the documentary Monster Kids along with Daniel Roebuck and Tom Woodruff, Jr. [4]
