Mark Latrelle was an United Earth Starfleet lieutenant in 2151, and best friend of Lieutenant Malcolm Reed.
In that year, Reed's shipmate on Enterprise, Ensign Hoshi Sato, covertly contacted Latrelle to inquire about Reed's favorite food, for the purpose of planning a surprise birthday dinner for Reed. Latrelle recalled the he and Reed used to frequent a restaurant on the Embarcadero, but only because Reed had a crush on the waitress, Maureen, and that he was unaware of Reed's favorite food. Mark Latrelle was played by John Rosenfeld.
The assignment patch worn by Latrelle was in reality a NASA Mission Control logo. It was not revealed which starship or facility this logo belonged to and it was never seen again.
