Mark Takeo Kosakura (born 24 December 1965; age 58) is an actor and model who appeared as an Enterprise-D ensign in several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He received no credit for his appearances. Kosakura was scheduled to appear in the episode "Clues" as the engineer named Nelson but on the revised call sheet he was replaced by fellow background actor Rachen Assapiomonwait. He was also scheduled to appear in the episode "Identity Crisis" in scenes on the bridge but was replaced by actor Kraig Kishi and in the episode "The Host" where he was replaced by Max Cervantes. In addition to his on screen Star Trek contribution, Kosakura worked as stand-in for Garrett Wang on the Star Trek: Voyager fourth season episode "Revulsion" and the fifth season episode "In the Flesh".

Kosakura was born in Orange County, California and attended the Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California. He studied acting and acting techniques under coaches such as Sal Romeo, R.J. Adams, and Cary-Hiroyuki and started to work in the entertainment industry in 1985.

Among his television work were featured parts in General Hospital, Cheers (1990, with Kirstie Alley, Kelsey Grammer, Bebe Neuwirth, Edward Penn, Paul Willson, Rebecca Soladay, Lee Allen, Don Bennett, Nyra Crenshaw, Linda Harcharic, and Peter Eastman), Erase the Hate, Planet X, Buzz L.A., Beverly Hills, 90210, and Carol & Company (1990).

His film work include Black Rain (1989, with Stephen Root, Richard Riehle, Tim Kelleher, Keone Young, and Chris Nelson Norris), the horror film Terrorgram (1990, cinematography by Gregory Irwin), The Bodyguard (1992, with Bill Cobbs, Mike Starr, Bert Remsen, Donald Hotton, Douglas Price, Dan Koko, Michelle Rudy, John Tesh, George Sasaki, Bruce Dobos, Kevin Grevioux, Jim Portnoy, Curt Truman, Rudy Morrison, Juan De Villa, Fran Severini, and Robert Buckingham), the comedy Dave (1993, with Frank Langella, Parley Baer, Stefan Gierasch, Stephen Root, Dendrie Taylor, Paul Collins, Peter White, Robin Gammell, and Dan Butler), Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult (1994, with Raye Birk, Matt Roe, Earl Boen, Rosalind Ingledew, Alex Zimmerman, Marc Alaimo, Rick Scarry, Bob Scribner, Marcy Goldman, Bill Erwin, Bill Zuckert, Lena Banks, Symba Smith, David Keith Anderson, Kevin G. More recently, he worked as talent assistant on the television special The 20th Annual Movieguide Awards (2012, with Jimmy Bennett and Corbin Bernsen), as executive producer on the television series Seers of the Ninth Island (2014, written, directed, produced, and co-starring Sidney Liufau and featuring Garret Sato), and as actor on the short drama Song on Canvas (2015).
