"Transport me to the Ops pad, Maggie."
– Miles O'Brien, 2369 ("Emissary")

Ensign Maggie Hubbell was a transporter chief aboard the USS Enterprise-D in the 2360s.

Hubbell was on duty when K'Ehleyr and Alexander Rozhenko transported aboard in 2367 and informed Lieutenant Worf that two passengers were ready to be beamed much to the confusion of the Klingon as he was only expecting K'Ehleyr (TNG: "Reunion") as well as when the impostor Ambassador T'Pel boarded the Enterprise-D from the USS Zhukov later that same year. (TNG: "Data's Day") She was also the transporter chief when Leah Brahms visited the Enterprise-D in 2367. (TNG: "Galaxy's Child")

Hubbell transported an away team to Alpha Onias III while the Enterprise-D was investigating possible Romulan presence on the planet. Her attempts to retrieve the away team were blocked by the lifeform known as Barash, who kidnapped Commander William T. Riker in order to have another sentient being on his world. (TNG: "Future Imperfect")

Hubbell beamed the two mischievous Ferengi Par Lenor and Qol off of their stricken shuttle in 2368. (TNG: "The Perfect Mate")

She was on duty in transporter room 3 when Miles O'Brien left the Enterprise-D for the last time after his reassignment to Deep Space 9. She was relieved by Captain Picard, who personally transported O'Brien to the station. (DS9: "Emissary")

Hubbell was played by actress April Grace.
Her first name was given in "Emissary", a homage to then-TNG writers' assistant Maggie Allen; the last name – a nod to astrophysicist and space telescope namesake Edwin Hubble – was taken from the script of TNG: "Future Imperfect". While the script for "Future Imperfect" spells her last name "Hubble", the end credits of the episode name her "Hubbell".
