M. Rush was an imaging and sensor technologies officer who worked on the NX-01 Enterprise. (Star Trek: Enterprise set artwork)

In January of 2155, Rush was a flight director at the Fleet Operations Center on Earth. Rush was also involved with Booster Systems and APO and had offices in rooms 1039, 1319, and 1335. Fellow flight director P. Lauritson also had an office in room 1039. (ENT: "Demons" set artwork)

He was named after director of photography Marvin Rush.
Rush's name was listed on the dedication plaque of the NX-01 and on a directory seen in the Fleet Operations Center set in the episode "Demons". That directory has his office as being in room 1039, while another director has P. Lauritson in that same room.
