Louis "Lou" Scheimer (19 October 192819 October 2013; age 85) was one of the co-founders of Filmation, a producer on Star Trek: The Animated Series, and also voiced three characters in the series. Scheimer also worked on other popular animated shows from the 1960s to the 1980s. These include The New Adventures of Superman (1966 to 1970), Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids (1972 to 1984), and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983 to 1985, with Alan Oppenheimer and Michael Bell).

Scheimer died on his 85th birthday, 19 October 2013.[1]
