LAPD police cruiser in 1996
The Los Angeles Police Department (or LAPD) was a law enforcement agency in Los Angeles, California in the United States during the late 20th century.
Captain Braxton often had run-ins with the LAPD in 1996 for posting signs around the beachfront, stating that it's the "Future's end," and that a few people had been complaining. As one of the officers, Sims, approached Braxton, Braxton warned him to say away and referred to him as "quasi-Cardassian totalitarian." (VOY: "Future's End")
