Lorrum was a Kazon and a member of the Kazon-Nistrim sect led by Maje Culluh.
Michael Jonas, a crewmember of the USS Voyager who had turned traitor, was transmitting information to him. While he only talked to Rettik during previous transmissions (VOY: "Alliances", "Threshold"), Jonas informed Lorrum about the Cardassian missile Dreadnought, and contacted him to pass on information about dissension among the Voyager crew. Lorrum also wanted Jonas to create an accident on Voyager that would damage the warp coil, but Jonas refused to damage the ship in any way and said that Seska has to contact him if Culluh has a problem with that. Lorrum was played by Michael Spound. His name comes from the Dreadnought script.
In the final draft script of "Dreadnought", Lorrum was described thus; "[He] speaks soothingly, but his eyes are cool and calculating."
