Liz Smollins is an actress who appeared as an Alsaurian citizen in the Star Trek: Voyager second season episode "Resistance" for which she filmed her scenes on Friday 29 September 1995 and Monday 2 October 1995 on Paramount Stage 16.

Smollins trained acting and dance in New York and Los Angeles at the SAG Conservatory and the American Musical & Dramatic Academy. She worked for Eternal Theatre Productions on the stage plays "Voices in the Wilderness", "Women of the Bible", and on various staged readings.

Beside her work on Star Trek, she also appeared in episodes of Nikki (starring Nikki Cox), The Man Show, and The District.

Film work includes the action film Volcano (1997, with Jacqueline Kim, James G. MacDonald, Richard Penn, Mickey Cottrell, Brian Markinson, and Michael McGrady), the action thriller Air Force One (1997, with Dean Stockwell, Spencer Garrett, Bill Smitrovich, Dan Shor, Glenn Morshower, Don McManus, Pasha Lychnikoff, Harry Hutchinson, Boris Lee Krutonog, Paul Sklar, and Timothy Carhart), and the student film Sunday.

In 2005, she appeared in the short comedy Confessions of a Late Bloomer with Shane Wood.
