Linda Harcharic (born 2 February 1947; age 77) is an actress who appeared in several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise. Her costume from the fifth season episodes "Unification I" and "Unification II" was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] Harcharic was scheduled to appear as a command ensign in the fifth season episode "Disaster" but was either not filmed or cut from the final episode.

On Wednesday 7 September 1994, Harcharic was one of the four interviewees who auditioned for the part of Genevieve Bujold's stand-in on Star Trek: Voyager. She worked on set Thursday 8 September 1994 and Friday 9 September 1994 on Paramount Stage 8 until Bujold left the production of "Caretaker" unplanned. After Kate Mulgrew was cast as new captain, Harcharic again auditioned for the position of her stand-in on Thursday 22 September 1994 and Friday 23 September 1994. On these days she had her interviews along with Sue Henley, Joni German, and another actress. Henley was chosen for the job. Harcharic later worked as stand-in for guest actresses on the series such as for Julianne Christie in the seventh season episode "Homestead".

Harcharic also appeared in the television documentary The Kennedy Assassinations (1992), in five episodes of Cheers (1988 and 1990, with Kirstie Alley, Kelsey Grammer, Bebe Neuwirth, Edward Penn, Paul Willson, Lee Allen, Joseph Paz, Mark Reilly, Rebecca Soladay, Lemuel Perry, Gene Poe, Thomas J. Booth, Alex Landi, Marijane Cole, Randy James, Denise Lynne Roberts, Don Bennett, Nyra Crenshaw, Mark Kosakura, Peter Eastman, Jay Crimp, David Keith Anderson, Melba Gonzalez, Casey Kono, and Ivonne Perez), and the Boy Meets World episode "Danger Boy" (1995). In addition, she worked as stand-in on the drama A Dangerous Woman (1993, with Richard Riehle, Paul Dooley, Warren Munson, and Breon Gorman) and as background actress on the comedy series Just Shoot Me! (1997-2003). She also can be seen as a convention goer in Galaxy Quest (1999, with Robin Sachs, Rainn Wilson, Alan Rickman, Wayne Péré, Matt Winston, Heidi Swedberg, Larry Richards, Joel McKinnon Miller, Jack Nolan, Susan McNabb, Spice Williams, Tanner Gill, and stand-ins Guy Richardson, Lee Faranda, and Darius Montgomery).

Between 2009 and 2018, Harcharic worked as stand-in for actress Patricia Heaton in 214 episodes of the comedy series The Middle. Other acting appearances include The Big Bang Theory episodes "The Status Quo Combustion" (2014) where she appeared as a train station passenger and "The Laureate Accumulation" (2019, with Pamela Segall) where she appeared as an university reception guest.
