A limp was a peculiar way of walking, caused by injury or illness.

Among Humans, a common metaphor also used limping when someone says "You can limp your way home." (DS9: "For the Uniform")

A delivery man from the Earth movie Appointment with Danger limped. (ENT: "Impulse")

Sometiem before 2152, Zoumas acquired a limp as a result of losing several toes to frostbite. (ENT: "Canamar")

Captain James T. Kirk limped after his battle with the Gorn on Cestus III. (TOS: "Arena")

Kathryn Janeway limped after she was hit by a baton on her head. Tom Paris also limped after he was shot into his abdomen while on a planet in the Delta Quadrant. (VOY: "Time and Again")

When Odo lost his ability to change his form, he had to deal with injuries. When he slipped down some stairs during an observation of twi Yridians in Quark's he limped for some days. (DS9: "Nor the Battle to the Strong")
