Ligos VII is the uninhabited seventh planet in the Ligos system, known to be prone to periodic volcanic activity.

During the mid-24th century it contained a Federation science station, with a compliment of 103 personnel.

In 2369, the station was briefly captured by DaiMon Lurin, a Ferengi privateer. The crew of the station were made to work as forced labor, extracting ore from dangerous mines on the planet. When Lurin's men captured the USS Enterprise-D, its crew was forced into slavery as well. (TNG: "Rascals")
