The Lighthouse of Alexandria was a lighthouse built by Ptolemy II in 280 BC. It was the youngest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

In 2376, neither Neelix nor Tom Paris could remember this particular monument in a memory game they were playing. When Seven of Nine correctly provided the Lighthouse as the answer, Paris declared Borg photographic memory "the wonder of the modern world." (VOY: "11:59")
