Lewis Carroll was the pseudonym under which 19th century English children's author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson wrote the novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (also known as Alice in Wonderland) and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass.
His stories featured the adventures of a girl named Alice in Wonderland, a fictional country populated by incredible creatures and characters, including the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, and the Cheshire Cat.
