Lewis Carroll was the pseudonym under which 19th century English children's author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson wrote the novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (also known as Alice in Wonderland) and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass.

His stories featured the adventures of a girl named Alice in Wonderland, a fictional country populated by incredible creatures and characters, including the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, and the Cheshire Cat. (TOS: "Shore Leave", "Who Mourns for Adonais?"; TAS: "Once Upon a Planet")

Rick Berman described DS9: "Move Along Home" as having "a lot of Lewis Carroll elements." (Captains' Logs Supplemental - The Unauthorized Guide to the New Trek Voyages, p 48)
The novelization of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan featured a subplot concerning two young Regula I scientists who were fans of Carroll's work.
