Leonardo da Vinci's workshop was a holographic program aboard the USS Voyager which re-created the workshop of Leonardo da Vinci in Florence, Italy.

Kathryn Janeway was a frequent user of this program where she "acted" as Caterina, an apprentice to da Vinci. (VOY: "Scorpion", "Concerning Flight")

After defeating Species 8472 and de-linking Seven of Nine from the Borg Collective, Janeway went into this program to write her log with ink on paper. She told Chakotay this would remind her being Human. (VOY: "Scorpion, Part II")

A short time after Seven of Nine joined the crew of the Voyager, Janeway also introduced this program to her and tried to teach her "relaxation" by sculpting with clay. (VOY: "The Raven") Seven would later run the program on her own. (VOY: "The Omega Directive")

The Doctor also used this program as a hideout from the Srivani in 2374. (VOY: "Scientific Method")

Background information Edit

The name of this location comes from the call sheets of the episodes "Scorpion", "Scorpion, Part II", and "Concerning Flight" which refer to it as "da Vinci's workshop". The workshop of da Vinci on the alien planet in the latter episode is listed as "da Vinci's Alien Workshop".

Da Vinci's workshop was built on Paramount Stage 16.

The script of "Scorpion" included a short deleted scene in which Janeway referred to the holoprogram depicting Leonardo da Vinci and his workshop as "Janeway Seven".

A number of items located in Leonardo da Vinci's workshop were sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay.
