Lauren Mary Kim (born 1 February 1981; age 35) is a stuntwoman and stunt actress who performed utility stunts as a Kelvin crewmember for Star Trek under stunt coordinator Joey Box. Her scenes were shot between 14 and 21 November 2007 and she worked with J.J. Abrams.  
Kim was born in Stockton, California and attended the California State University. She made her first experiences as dancer for the NBA Sacramento Kings and the NBA Lakers and decided to move to Los Angeles. In LA, she trained martial arts, stunts, acting, and dance and studied under several coaches, including Lesly Kahn, Debbie Reynolds, and Zora DeHorter.
With these combined skills she appeared as a dancer in the comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004, with William Shatner, Stephen Root, and stunts by Spice Williams-Crosby, Nicole Randall, and Joey Box), and performed stunts in Wes Craven's horror film Cursed (2005), the science fiction film Choker (2005, with Stacey Carino and Steve Rizzo), the television series Threshold (2005, starring Brent Spiner), and the action comedy House of the Dead 2 (2005, with David Mattey). Kim doubled lead actress Ellen Pompeo in the Grey's Anatomy episode As We Know It (2006), and appeared in the television series Veronica Mars (2006), Numb3rs (2006, with Jade Quon), Monk (2006, with Sandra Nelson and Stanley Kamel), Reno 911! (2007), CSI: Miami (2007), Chuck (2007, with Tony Todd and stunts by Denney Pierce and Mark Aaron Wagner), and Californication (2008, with Pamela Adlon).
She doubled Lucy Liu in a Suntory Diet Draft Beer commercial, followed by stunt work for the films The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Rush Hour 3 (2007), The Dead Undead (2007, with Edward Conna and Spice Williams-Crosby), and the short film The Sled (2007). Further projects are the action film Taken by Force (2008, with Branscombe Richmond), the comedy Ninja Cheerleaders (2008, with George Takei), and the thriller Black Dynamite (2008), in which she doubled actress Nicole Sullivan.
Kim's credits in 2009 include stunt work in the thriller The Girl from the Naked Eye (with Sidney Liufau and stunts by Jade Quon, Fernando Chien, and Panuvat Anthony Nanakornpanom), the horror film Red Velvet, the action sequel Crank: High Voltage (with stunts by Robert Alonzo, Joey Anaya, Ilram Choi, Shauna Duggins, Justin Rodgers Hall, Heidi Moneymaker, Mark Muñoz, Katie Rowe, Trampas Thompson, and Spice Williams-Crosby), and Michael Bay's science fiction sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. She doubled actress Dichen Lachman in the Dollhouse episode "Stage Fright" and worked as stunt actress in the action films Ultimate Champion, Ballistica (with James Lew and stunt coordinator Cole McKay), and Dead Reckoning.
