A land vehicle

A land-based vehicle, also called a land vehicle or ground vehicle, was a type of vehicle that traveled on the ground/land, as opposed to an aircraft, which traveled in the air, a boat, which traveled in the water, or a spacecraft, which traveled through space.

Many different types of land vehicles have existed on different worlds throughout the Milky Way Galaxy, including Earth, such as wagons, automobiles, trams, trains, tanks, and cable cars.

In 2004, when Captain Archer was about to steal a Dodge Ram, T'Pol asked him if he had ever drove a vehicle from that period before. He tells her that he can pilot a starship, implying he'd have no problem. Afterward he proved to be a capable driver after all. (ENT: "Carpenter Street")

Although the Vaadwaur homeworld was devastated by orbital bombardment from a variety of the Vaadwaur's enemy's ships during the 15th century, a number of weapons, ships, and land vehicles were still left intact by the 2370s. (VOY: "Dragon's Teeth")

In 2377, Tom Paris challenged Icheb to a race car competition in the holodeck, using an "old Earth ground vehicle". (VOY: "Nightingale")

On Kolarus III in 2379, when an away team was on the surface in a land vehicle; Data informed Jean-Luc Picard that he couldn't understand why Humans had a tendency to drive vehicles at such "unsafe velocities." (Star Trek Nemesis)

In 2380, Galardonian farming vehicles were used by Galardonian farmers on their capital planet in the Galar system. They were ground vehicles that had robotic legs rather than wheels. (LD: "Second Contact")

In 2381, Kynk and his fellow Ferengi used a land vehicle to drive around on the surface of Frylon IV, where they were illegally poaching mugatos. (LD: "Mugato, Gumato")

In 2383, the USS Protostar was equipped with a ground vehicle called the Runaway. (PRO: "Dream Catcher")

In an alternate timeline in the year 2404, several land vehicles drove through the tubes on the Golden Gate Bridge when the USS Voyager returned to Earth. (VOY: "Endgame")
