Lake Tahoe is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the Western United States. It is located near Reno, Nevada, where it shares a border with the state of California.
The Cal-Neva Lodge, overlooked Lake Tahoe, when it was built in 1926. Lake Tahoe would later be incorporated into the holosuite program Bashir 62, a 24th century rendition of 1962.
That year, Vic Fontaine planned on flying up to Tahoe for a couple days to see his friend Sammy perform at the Cal-Neva. While there, Vic intended to introduce Nog to Sammy. (DS9: "It's Only a Paper Moon")
