Laira (LAY-rah) was a Bajoran girl with a beautiful smile living on Deep Space 9.
In 2370, Jake Sisko asked Laira out on a first date. Jake planned to take her to a Holosuite but his father thought he was too young for that, suggesting instead that Jake and Laira hang out in the public areas of the Promenade.
