Kraylor script
The Kraylor are a humanoid species indigenous to the Delta Quadrant.
They are identified by the gill-like structures extending from the bottom of their ears down the ridge of their jaws. The crew of the USS Voyager made first contact with them around stardate 54274.7.
When the Voyager crew made first contact, the Kraylor were engaged in hostilities with another Delta Quadrant species, the Annari. The Annari had the upper hand at the time, having erected - and maintained for three years - a blockade of the Kraylor homeworld. The Kraylor, however, were not completely without resources, and were in the process of delivering a prototype vessel equipped with a cloaking device to their homeworld. Instead of the medical and food supplies they claimed to be transporting, the Kraylor were instead delivering cloaking devices, hoping to use them to throw off the Annari blockade.
The Annari soon learn how to detect cloaked vessels utilizing an energy pulse. Though effective, the transport was eventually a success, thanks to the leadership and cleverness of Ensign Kim in outwitting the Annari patrols. The impact the cloaking technology had on the hostilities is unknown. (VOY: "Nightingale")
A Kraylor starship was stuck in The Void in 2377 and a Kraylor delegate was aboard Voyager when Captain Janeway was showing the ship to Bosaal. (VOY: "The Void")
Several Kraylor were employed at the Primary Energy Facility on Quarra. (VOY: "Workforce, Part I")
- The Kraylor only appeared in the background, such as the large facility room where Captain Janeway worked, so it was not mentioned whether or not the Kraylor were kidnapped.
