Kora II was the inhabited second planet in its star system. This was a Cardassian planet.

After the Cardassian Union's withdrawal from Bajor, Aamin Marritza relocated to Kora II, where he became an instructor at the Military Academy. (DS9: "Duet")

According to the script, the pronunciation for Kora was "KO-ra".

According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 46) and the Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Stellar Cartography", p. 18; "Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the Kora system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. The primary was a K-class star. According to a map of the Cardassian Union – prepared by an anonymous astrography clerk, from the Cardassian Central Archives, in 2364 – Kora was identified as a Cardassian system.
