Ensign Kopf was a Starfleet engineering officer who served during the late-24th century.

Kopf was assigned to the USS Enterprise-D in 2367, and was present when Lieutenant Commander Data hijacked the ship in an effort to locate his creator, Noonian Soong. Kopf assisted the senior staff in an attempt to regain control of the ship's systems, including the navigational systems, but ultimately was unsuccessful. (TNG: "Brothers")

Kopf was played by James Lashly, in his first of two Star Trek appearances.
Kopf appears in the SCE eBook Many Splendors, in which he becomes trapped following a collision with a quantum filament, and subsequently rescued by Lieutenants Kieran Duffy and Sonya Gomez. The book also gives his first name as "Martin."
