Mister Kipp (2376)
Kipp was one of approximately two hundred inhabitants of an asteroid in the Delta Quadrant.
In 2377, the Dralian Gar sold three thousand induction units to the miners who lived on the asteroid. During his visit, Gar stole twenty kilos of iridium ore.
The following day, the workers realized that Gar had stolen their iridium.
A day after that, the Starfleet crew of the Federation starship Voyager contacted Kipp while their vessel was carrying the iridium that Gar had stolen. Captain Kathryn Janeway, the commanding officer of Voyager, notified Kipp that Gar had only traded ten kilos of iridium to the Starfleet crew. She agreed to return the iridium to the miners, but also suggested that Voyager could be able to return the entire twenty kilos of the ore if Kipp assisted in locating Gar. In response, Kipp informed Janeway that the induction units that Gar had sold the miners originally came from a planetoid called Velos. (VOY: "Critical Care")
