Kieran Mulroney (born 24 September 1965; age 58) is the actor who played Benzan in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "The Outrageous Okona" and Shaw in the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "Fortunate Son". His costume from the latter episode was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]

He is the brother of actor Dermot Mulroney.

He has made guest appearances on Judging Amy (with Rudolf Martin and Carolyn McCormick), NYPD Blue (with Gordon Clapp and Ivar Brogger), ER (with Castulo Guerra and Robert DoQui), and Seinfeld along with Jason Alexander, Teri Hatcher, and Tony Amendola.

Mulroney was also one of several Star Trek actors to appear in From the Earth to the Moon, playing Apollo 9 astronaut Rusty Schweikhart. Others who appeared in the series include Sam Anderson, David Andrews, Dan Butler, David Clennon, Ronny Cox, Brett Cullen, Ann Cusack, David Drew Gallagher, Jerry Hardin, Clint Howard, Daniel Hugh Kelly, John Carroll Lynch, Dakin Matthews, Conor O'Farrell, Holmes R. Osborne, Harve Presnell, Mark Rolston, Stephen Root, Alan Ruck, and Winona Ryder.

Mulroney was among the ensemble cast of the 1993 war epic Gettysburg; he also co-starred in the 1996 film The Spitfire Grill. In 2006, he worked as executive producer on the drama Wild Tigers I Have Known and in 2009 he worked as writer and director alongside his wife Michele Mulroney on the comedy Paper Man. The two also wrote the story for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) and Power Rangers (2017, with Bill Hader, Fiona Vroom, and Fred Tatasciore).

More recently, Mulroney worked as an actor on the short film Possessions (2019).
